Saint Joseph started the cross country program in 1980.  The girls team had runners, but no real team.  So they ran incomplete.  Until the late 80s, they were not incomplete.  In the mid-80s, St. Joseph had three really great girl runners; Ann Stokman, Paula Stokman, Maureen Ryan, and Ceceila Kunz.  All three of them were teammates.

During the 1990s, the girls team did not really have a full complete team.  They had a complete team in the early 90s, but in the late 90s, they did not have enough runners for a team.  One great runner at this time was Anne Tiber.

During the 2000s, the girls cross country had runners, but not enough for a full team.  Even though they didn't really have a team, they had many great runners.  Some of those great runners are Katherine Wajrowski, Laura Belmonte, Anna Loef, Annie Fisher, Maddy McTernan, Mady Scopp, Ariana Hernandez, and Vanessa Morrone.  In 2007, the girls team had enough girls for a team.  In the 2014 season, the WIAA changed the course distance from a 4k to 5k.  Now all the high school girl cross country teams have to run the same distance as the boys team.  The girls team was led my Mady Scopp for the 2014 season.  The girls team went to every meet winning almost every single meet.  They won Conference, but took second at Sectionals.  They placed 9th at State.

The following year, Mady Scopp led the team as the number one runner.  She was followed by Ariana Hernandez, Nathalie Cairo, Malynn Tarczewski, Maggie McGuire, Meg Marciniak, and Lilly Jaraczewski.  They did the same thing that they did a season ago, but this time they won Conference and Sectionals.  Also they won the first ever Kenosha County Champship in school history.  The boys team has never won the Kenosha County Championship  They placed 7th at State which is their highest place at State.
